RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SANTA GIFT MARKET
Please read all regulations governing your santa fe gift market activities.

I have read and will abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Santa Fe Gift Market listed below
1. ELIGIBILITY: The Santa Fe Gift Market (SFGM) reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any exhibitor for inclusion in the Show, either before or after the proper execution of this contract. Participation is limited to those selling wholesale products directly related to the gift, jewelry, apparel, resort, art, and home furnishings industry, who display and solicit orders for their products in good taste and whose conduct in business adds to the professional atmosphere at the show. 2. GENERAL: The SFGM shall have the full power in the interpretation and enforcement of all rules and regulations governing exhibitors. All matters and questions not covered by the regulations shall be subject to final judgment and decisions of the SFGM. The assume compliance the SFGM reserved the right to maintain the professional atmosphere of this show by sole discretion actions to immediately end violations, in necessary, barring or expelling the Exhibitor and/or any of Exhibitor's personnel from the premises. 3. RETAILING IS PROHIBITED: Retail selling to the consumer is contrary to the nature, professional atmosphere and security requirements of the SHOW and is specifically prohibited. Any exhibitor violating this rule will be subject to forfeiting its right to continue exhibiting and right to exhibit in future shows. To insure show security, customers attempting to leave the premises with merchandise will be asked to return the merchandise to the point of purchase. Please do not embarrass your buyer, or risk expulsion from future shows. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE! 4. REGISTRATION & BADGES: All exhibitors or exhibitor personnel must wear their personal (non-transferable) identification for admittance. One-day Set -Up Crew Badges are available upon request. Lost or additional badges are subject to an additional $5.00 fee, after deadline. Exhibitor guests are discouraged, as you bear all responsibilities for their inappropriate actions, including your possible expulsion for non-compliance of contract terms. 5. SECURITY / LIABILITY: The SFGM will provide reasonable security service for the show from the beginning of move-in to the end of move-out, but cannot assure that any Exhibitor will not sustain loss, disappearance or damage its property or illness or injury of its personnel. The SFGM does not and will not be expected to inventory items that the Exhibitor brings to the show. Thus SFGM can have no accurate determination of what items or what values are represented in the inventory Exhibitors bring to the show and, accordingly, cannot be expected to insure Exhibitor against loss or damage to its property. Exhibitor and SFGM recognize and acknowledge that a need exists for Exhibitor to exercise proper precautions to discourage injury, loss or damage and all exhibitors are to carry their own insurance covering loss, fire, theft, damage, or injury. 6. BOOTH SET-UPS: All Exhibitors must be set up by the 8pm set-up deadline on the set-up day. Failure to be set-up by 8pm constitutes non-compliance of contract, releasing your booth space to be reassigned or disposed, as seen as necessary by SFGM. NOTE: No set up is allowed on the day of the show. No refunds will be given for late cancellations or no-show exhibitors. 7. BOOTH DISPLAY: All booths must be displayed to conform to adjacent booths. All tables MUST be draped and all merchandise is only to be displayed within our assigned area. Side walls are 3' high. If your display merchandise is higher than 3' you will be required to properly finish the side walls. Disputes in these matters shall be decided by the Show Management as used herein: SFGM refer to the Santa Fe Gift Market. 8. CARE OF SPACE: Absolutely nothing may be nailed, taped, stapled, wired, or attached to any wall, ceiling, or floor surface of the building. All damages incurred will be collected from the exhibitor. Signs or decorations that are electrically lit must be pre-approved by the Show Management. 9. FIRE & BUILDING CODES: All fire, Safety, and Building Codes will be strictly enforced! No exhibitor shall use any flammable decorations or coverings of tables, risers, and drapes shall be flameproof, with support documents. No pine boughs, papers, leafy decorations or tree branches are allowed. Storage of flammable materials in exhibitor's booths is strictly forbidden. Smoking is prohibited except in designated areas outside the facility. 10. SHOW HOURS: All exhibitors are required to have their booths staffed and open for business during all published show hours, including special events. 11. GOOD NEIGHBORS: All business activities and selling efforts must be made within your assigned areas only. No Audio-Visual or other sound equipment device is permitted to interfere with the comfort or business activity of neighboring exhibitors. All displays, actions, and conduct must be lawful, professional, and in good taste. No exhibitor may enter another exhibitor's booth without prior invitation. 12. DISMANTLING OF EXHIBITS: It is expressly forbidden for exhibitors to dismantle or pack any portion of their exhibit prior to the official designated closing time of the show. No merchandise or exhibit material will be allowed to be removed from the premises neither by buyers nor vendors, during show hours. Security personnel will allow NO EXCEPTIONS. 13. REMOVING VALUABLES / VAULT ARTICLES: Exhibitors wishing to remove valuables on a nightly basis may do so by: 1) requesting a release form in advance from the Show Management; 2) presenting the authorization form to an authorized security guard; 3) agreeing to a sight inspection of contents: noted against the listing of the form. No materials will be released from the premises until after the daily closing time of the Show. 14. BOOTH NUMBER ASSIGNMENTS: The policy of the Show Management is the attempt to reassign or give priority locations to previous show attendees: however we cannot guarantee or be held responsible for events that may cause last minute space relocation. 15. BOOTH SELECTIONS: Assignments are made by the Show Committee on the date following the "Contract Deadline" with 1st choice going to returning exhibitors paid in full. 16. CANCELLATION POLICY: $100 cancellation fee by July 30th, 2010. No refund will be given after JULY 30th, 2010. All cancellations must be in writing. 17. RESTRICTIONS: The Show Management reserves the right to restrict exhibitors that may have been falsely entered or might be deemed unsuitable or objectionable. This reservation applies to noise, persons, things, conduct, printed matter or anything of a character that might be objectionable to the show as a whole. No exhibitor may solicit business from customers who are in another exhibitor's booth, in the aisles and/or in any other common area. No exhibitor may enter a designated "buyers only" area for any purpose. 18. INDEMNIFICATION: Exhibitor agrees to indemnify, defend and protect Santa Fe Gift Market against and hold SFGM harmless from any and all claims, demands, suits, liability, damages, loss or costs of whatever kind of nature which might result from any action or failure to act of the Exhibitor or any of his officers, agents, employees, or other representatives, including but not limited to claims of damage, of loss of profits, business or any other damage to Exhibitor through cancellation for such causes. 19. SHOW CANCELLATION: Should Acts of God, strikes, work stoppage, or any other cause not within the control of the SFGM make it impossible for the show to be held of the particular exhibit area to be occupied by the Exhibitor, then SFGM, its officers, agents, employees, or other representatives are jointly released from any and all claims which may arise in consequence thereof. SFGM shall determine and refund to Exhibitor his proportionate accountable expenses incurred. In no event shall SFGM be liable for loss of profits, business or any other damage to Exhibitor through cancellation for such causes. 20. STROLLERS AND CHILDREN: No strollers or unaccompanied children will be permitted. -As used Herein: SFGM refers to the SANTA FE GIFT MARKET -All exhibits must be completely set-up and cleaned one hour before opening. -All exhibitors must be checked-in before 8pm on set-up day or automatically forfeit space and all payments made.
